This is how we process your claim
with the insurance company

  • Paso 1Analysis

    The client informs us that a loss or accident has occurred. [You can report the claim online] When we have all the information, we proceed to assess whether it is covered by the policy contracted.

  • Paso 2Opening of the claim

    After knowing the causes and consequences of the claim and verifying that it is covered by the policy, we proceed to send the information to the insurance company to open it. It is important that the client send us all the information, so that the company can incorporate all the data into the file so that the processing is faster.
  • Paso 3Valuation

    This step is the longest and where the client must be patient since the insurance company needs time to assess the damages and the causes of the claim. From ERSM we maintain regular contact with the company to follow the evolution of the claim. When there is a novelty, we inform the client immediately.
  • Paso 4Expert management

    In many cases, the insurance company will send an expert to assess the consequences of the claim. This expert, after analyzing and investigating the accident, will write a report based on which the company will decide whether or not to accept the claim. And, if so, what economic amounts it proposes as compensation to the insured.
  • Paso 5Company review

    The insurance company, once the claim has been assessed, will decide whether to compensate the insured and close the file, or refuse to pay the compensation. At this point, as in each step of the processing, ERSM will defend the client's interests before the company.
  • Paso 6Final resolution

    If the insurance company accepts the claim and the client agrees, it will proceed to make the minimum payment within 40 days.

    If the client does not agree with the assessment of the compensation, we will help him to claim extrajudicially or judicially his disagreement. Thus, the management of the claim will remain open until its final resolution.

  • Paso 7Closure of the claim

    Once the company has made the agreed payment to the insured, it will proceed to close the claim. The processing of the claim by ERSM will be closed once the compensation has been agreed.
